Historical Hyderabad
Yesterday we were taken on a tour of the major historical sites around the city…
We started off at the Qutub Shahi Tombs. The are has around 30 tombs, and a few mosques, from the Qutub Shahi dynasty; which lasted for around 170 years. The structures vary in size, and the surrounding gardents are absoultely beautiful.

First Week(ish) in India
They keep us pretty busy every day, and we have lots of meetings and activities. The most noticiable thing about India when I first arrived was the smell (it’s cliche but true) there’s nothing like it. It’s not necessarily a bad thing. A overall musky smellinterupted by wafts of jasmine flowers.
The campus is HUGE. It takes about 20 - 30min to walk from the Intl. student...

First leg of the trip...
Operation get to Hyderabad according to the plan = maximum fail…hahaha
Flight out of Boston was delayed, which meant only 30min to get from plane A to plane B…not so much. Spending the night in JFK airport and splurged on $6 wireless.
Everyone’s busy cleaning up the airport for tomorrow and i got to watch them zamboni the floors…they look like they’d be super fun...

Things I gotta do before I leave for India...
Leaving for India in just about 3 weeks, and there’s a whole lot of things I want to do/people I want to see/places I want to go to before I leave….
Moving takes away all the fun...ha-rumph
I’m so pumped to design after the photo shoot last week, but this week is going to be consumed by packing. Moving into a house is awesome, but packing is totally lame. It’s really unfortunate, because I’ve got so many fun ideas floating around in my head…steampunk, evening gowns, pink poofy princess dresses, and of course Ren garb. Corsets, corsets everywhere…
